Claire Petulengro's monthly horoscopes for July 2009 ARIES (March 21st-April 20th) The Sun and Jupiter bring out your creative streak, and this would be an ideal time to take chances and to try new things. If you’re a single Aries and looking for a commitment then start to indulge in the things you enjoy between the 11th and 20th. You’re sure to find like minded people to you there, if you do. A rivalry between you and someone in the family is getting out of hand. Nip it in the bud, before the 10th please, and before things really spiral out of control. TAURUS (April 21st-May 21st) Mercury is pushing you into temptations, which you wouldn’t normally even give a second thought to. Close ones are going to have to keep you on a pretty short leash, if they want to ensure your reputation lays untarnished by the end of this month! This would be a good time to focus on your career. Important people now know your name and want to help you turn your dreams into a reality. Family commitments take up time you would rather have spare midmonth. GEMINI (May 22nd-June 21st) Watch what you say to friends about your personal life this month please Gemini. You would be surprised if you knew which faces will want to use it against you before this year is over. CANCER (June 22nd-July 23rd) You may have to face up to some things you would rather have avoided as a drama, which has been unfolding since February, comes to a head. LEO (July 24th-August 23rd) You have told some lies, but you must be careful of telling more lies in order to cover your tracks. You are mixing with a more eclectic crowd now, and this is reflected in the more dramatic personality we are seeing evolving. VIRGO (August 24th-September 23rd) You must not take away a close one’s freedom, or you will only end up looking and feeling the fool, when they do the same to you. You don’t appear to be feeling as strong as you should, and you may want to plan something you know relaxes you, so that you don’t end up making silly and stupid mistakes. A new friend is a good and a bad influence, so know when it is time to put a distance between you both please. Flirtations turn serious from the 21st. LIBRA (September 24th-October 23rd) You are looking too much to the past for answers, which only the future can hold. You know Libra, it is far better to look forward than back. If someone does not want you then they were not right for you, and there will be better things to come. Imagine what love is like when it works as a two way street. Don’t waste your precious time; you are too good for that. Besides, there is money to be earned from the 18th, so get out there and put your time and energy to good use. SCORPIO (October 24th-November 22nd) Try not to take advantage of an older face in your life, who has been using you as a leaning post. You may think they owe you, but you gave what you did without asking for anything in return, didn’t you? Making your own way in life will grant you so much more self respect and I know you can do it too Scorpio. You’ll regret taking the easy option, so step up to the challenge. A difficult situation in love can be sorted out by agreeing to disagree and moving on. SAGITTARIUS (November 23rd-December 21st) Someone, you thought did not support you in your career, is about to prove to you how very wrong you were. There comes a time in life when people have to give praise, and this is your month to hear what others really think of you. Life is good and will continue to be good as long as you work on making your life what you want it to be, and not worry about what looks good to others. Saturn offers you structure in love to right a wrong from the 12th. Use it! CAPRICORN (December 22nd-January 20th) Stress comes in the form of someone, who seems to think you are there for them to use, as and when they like. You have allowed this situation to develop, but it was not an obvious decision. It just sort of crept up on you. You can gain back your independence from the 5th when Jupiter offers his magic for you to undo any chains. Romance comes with a few hiccups, as you get caught out in stupid lies. Stop telling them! AQUARIUS (January 21st-February 19th) You are not going to be able to stop yourself from saying how you feel in your heart. In fact, you don’t care if you look a total fool. You have played games earlier in the year and where did it get you? Nowhere! Key dates are the 11th, 15tha and 23rd when you find out what your future may consist of. Someone has had, or is having a baby, and in some form or shape, this has an impact on you. Careful with money, you’ll need spare cash for the end of the month’s amazing opportunity. PISCES (February 20th-March 20th) You have such a lot of work to complete, but who is responsible for this heavy workload? You of course, Pisces! You always try to impress people by showing how able you are, but when does the ‘you’ time come? Relationships are under enormous strain at the moment, but I urge you not to make any rash or hasty decisions. Wait until the end of the month before you start making a mental list of fors and againsts. You’ll have a clear cut answer if you do.

Summer Solstice 2009 Though we might all associate 21 June with Midsummer’s day, when the Sun makes into way into Cancer, we are likely to have different perceptions of what the Summer Solstice actually means. We know it gives us the longest day and the shortest night of the year. But perhaps not everybody realises that the Summer Solstice is in simple terms the point at which the Sun, when it’s farthest away from the equator, appears to pause and then turn in its course. It could be a good turning point for some of us too if we’ve been a little uninspired or diffident about what we’re doing. Here Peter Watson gives a sign-by-sign guide to the astrological significance of the Summer Solstice 2009. ARIES Mar 21 - Apr 20 That wonderful midsummer feeling is all around you. And this is marked by the Sun moving into Cancer on 21 June followed immediately afterwards by a New Moon. So there will be all sorts of things being churned up for you. It's important to allow yourself to focus on what's good about your life and what you have to look forward to instead of dwelling on what you haven't got, you haven't achieved or whatever has made things difficult for you recently. Remember that whatever you do in terms of home and family life says a great deal about you. And you may have to choose between professional or financial responsibilities craving your attention and loved ones who let you know that they really do need your undivided attention. TAURUS Apr 21 - May 21 This is the most wonderful time of the year in that on 21 June the Sun moves into Cancer. This marks the Summer Solstice and you’ll probably fall under the spell of some midsummer magic. With a New Moon occurring immediately afterwards, you could get carried away with some friendly, romantic, flattering banter going on between yourself and someone for whom you have more than a soft spot. PISCES Feb 20 - Mar 20 This time of year tends to remind you that your life is meant to include its fair quota of romance and entertainment. And the Summer Solstice on 21 June will introduce a bit of excitement and possibly a touch of madness, of the nicest possible kind. You’ll begin to acknowledge the fact that you should be approaching certain situations in a creative and sometimes unconventional way instead of always having to adhere to the rules and regulations imposed by people who are too dictatorial for their own good - and they certainly don’t do you many favours either. OMG! July starts out with a big bang. There will be
all kinds of planets squaring off, and Uranus will be at retrograde
station. And... the first lunar eclipse will be only a few days away.
Try to avoid arguments at all costs, and be prepared for anything.On
Wednesday, July 1st, the sky may actually be falling. Venus is going to
be arguing with Neptune, and Mercury will be at odds with Uranus, the
shocking planet, at retrograde station. But, Mercury will also be
wining and dining Jupiter and Neptune. Some people may be very
persuasive, but if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. There
could also be money and relationship problems, accidents while driving,
and Internet screw-ups. It would be a really great day to stay home,
call in sick, and don't answer the phone... Or, maybe just dig a hole
and crawl in it. Be careful!There will still be fallout on
Thursday, July 2nd, and the jealousy and gossip will be brewing on
Friday. There could be arguments and quarrels on Independence Day, July
4th, and we may be ready to make some volatile changes in our lives on
Sunday.The new week will begin on Monday, July 6th with even
more crap. Its going to be the fight or flight syndrome. We may be
ready to kick someone out of our lives, or we may actually run away. We
could also be indulging in addictions, or we may get really lazy. Then
comes the full moon lunar eclipse on Tuesday July 7th. I expect by
Tuesday evening we will all be very tired, and ready to go to the
solitude of home.The rest of the week and the following weekend
will be much more pleasant. We will be ready to deal with issues in our
lives, and we should actually accomplish a few things. We may want to
work on creative projects the weekend of July 11th, and we should find
it easy to communicate with others. Short trips should also go smoothly.The
week of July 13th should bring sound thoughts, good travel, and some
special surprises with the Sun, Mercury, and Uranus dancing a jig all
the way through Saturday, July 18th. Take advantage of the good days,
because this is the calm before the next storm with the next eclipse
lurking just around the corner.Travel should go well through
Monday July 20th, but there are also going to be money and relationship
problems cropping up on Monday and Tuesday. Some relationships could
break up, and others may get abusive. It will also be a very, very bad
time for gambling and investing. But, there will also be a few heroes
emerging on Tuesday with the solar eclipse. Let's hope our President is
one of them.The Sun and the Moon will enter Leo on July 22nd,
and we may decide to spend a few days just resting and recuperating. In
fact the rest of the week should be rather uneventful.By July
26th we will be ready to get out and go shopping. The next few days
could also be very good for investing or gambling. Some of us will win
big, but some of us will also lose big. There could also be some sudden
new romances or relationship breakups around this time.The month
will end with more difficulties with Mercury challenging Jupiter and
Neptune, and Venus at odds with Pluto. There could be some blatant lies
being told, and the green monster of jealousy could start a few fights.

Jane's Dark Stars Horoscopes for the month of July 2009 ARIES A potentially fascinating month unfolds, as eclipses on the 7th and 22nd energise where you come from, and where you’re going. What’s it all about then? New people, old friends, and family members all contribute to the mix swirling around you.
